Gun Control Problem Solved

Your admonition about not killing is consistent with everything we have been taught and believe as Christians but your comment "Ever. With anything. For any reason", is troubling. If someone, alone or with someone else, were to enter my home illegally and threaten, in my estimation, my life or others I would want to have a weapon probably a gun to defend me/us. If that meant shooting that person or persons and perhaps killing him or them I would feel justified by my actions. I probably would have some momentary regrets but the overall benefit of saving myself and/or others from harm and possibly death would minimize them. In this day and age, with in my view the degradation of our culture, I would strongly endorse people acquiring a gun, learning to use it, and keep it at the ready in their home.
