Personnel Announcement

 

 

It is my delight to announce the calling of Ms. Jillianne Myers Booth as the newest member of the staff of St. John’s. Ms. Booth will serve the parish as Assistant Youth Minister and will work under the direction of Mr. Matt Williams.

 

Jillianne holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia University and a Master’s of Christian Education from Pfeiffer University. She comes to us most recently from the Zion Lutheran Church in Lexington, South Carolina, where she served as Director of Student Ministries and Christian Education.

 

Jillianne, her husband Steve, and their young son Blaine, will be relocating to Charlotte as they are able. Her two stepchildren, Connor and Carley, will be visiting them here often.

 

Jillianne begins her ministry with us in mid-July. Please hold this family in your prayers and welcome them warmly as you have the opportunity. This is an exciting time for the parish and the youth ministry program and we are blessed to make this critical staffing expansion.

 

The generosity of the parish makes this call possible and to that we say, “Thanks be to God!”
