Stewardship and Finance
The Parish Steward, Susan Mason, is responsible for all financial services at St. John’s. Susan would welcome volunteer assistance in any of the areas listed and will help volunteers to select one or more services that might be of interest to them.

Accounts Payable: verify vouchers & invoices, calculate sales tax for vendor invoices, calculate credit card bill sales tax report

Accounts Receivable: calculate and prepare NC forms for tax rebates

Contributions and Canvass: write acknowledgments for financial gifts to nonmembers, prepare data for presentations, assist with canvass letters, number and coordinate donor envelopes

Posting Committee: count and deposit donations — pairs generally meet on Mondays or as required for special offerings

Other: conduct miscellaneous research projects, assist in preparing for the annual visit by external auditors
