Guild of the Christ Child
The Guild of the Christ Child is a unique experience available to all mothers of the church and is part of the women’s ministry at St. John’s. We provide an opportunity for mothers of all ages to get to know each other and share ideas and experiences of parenting in a Christian environment. The Guild participates in monthly service projects throughout the year. The agency that we support is A Child’s Place, which works to ease the impact of homelessness on children and help them maximize their educational experience. We also bake cookies for the Advent Festival and provide meals to families with new babies and other special needs.
The Guild meets the second Wednesday of each month at 10:00 am. We share a potluck lunch after each meeting. Childcare is provided in the church nursery and toddler rooms.

Food for Families at St. John's
The purpose of this ministry is to take the love of St. John’s to a family in crisis, by furnishing a meal or meals to the family. Members’ names are referred to the committee by the clergy. The family is then contacted and arrangements are made for the meal (or meals, if there is a need for more than one) to be delivered.
