The Vision of St. John's: Growing a community to serve and celebrate Christ.
The Mission of St. John's: To be a community of people who believe in Christ and act out His acceptance of us by ministering to one another and by reaching out to others. St. John's Episcopal Church offers many possibilities for worship, service, education, fun, fellowship and spiritual growth. Each of us brings our own unique abilities and gifts to God's service. We hope that you will join us as we minister to each other, our community, and the world.
As a Christian community we believe that we are called to be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ in our community. We strive, with God's help, to engage in significant outreach, including addressing issues of hunger, shelter, health care and evangelism. Please call the church office at 704-366-3034 to learn more about our ministry and to get involved.

Rector Candidate Interviews are Underway
As we reported in our last communication to the parish, the search committee began telephone interviews with our candidates on June 1. These candidates have very impressive credentials, and now that we have actually started to have verbal communication with them, we are pleased to let the congregation know that we have been blessed with an excellent pool of candidates! As we proceed through the telephone interviews for the next several weeks, we wanted to be sure the congregation is well-informed on the process the committee is following: click here for the full story
